The existing sites are located on a portion of the former commuter parking lot for the New York Waterway Ferry Terminal. Over the past 15 years, the site has been undergoing a redevelopment for a mixed use project known as Port Imperial with the construction of several multi-story residential buildings with structured parking garages, new roadways, and new infrastructure including a new storm sewer collection system with outfalls to the Hudson River.”
